Goals & Objectives 2009 Biennium:
- Goal 1:
- Present a single, comprehensive, and prioritized plan for capital construction, repairs, and alterations of state-owned facilities.
- Objective 1:
- Assist Agencies in monitoring major repair and maintenance needs of state-owned facilities through the Facility Condition Inventory process.
- Objective 2:
- Advise the executive and legislative branches on adequate funding levels to maintain state facilities in reasonable condition.
- Goal 2:
- Provide agencies with sustainable, fiscally responsible environments that support their missions.
- Objective 1:
- Building designs meet current and anticipated user needs, are efficient, valued by the users, and comfortable.
- Objective 2:
- Buildings are designed to be cost-effective to construct, energy efficient to operate, and affordable to maintain.
- Goal 3:
- Implement designs through proactive, effective, and efficient construction administration.
- Objective 1:
- Utilize team-based approach with agencies, architects/engineers, and contractors to maximize communication and efficiency.
- Objective 2:
- Construct projects on-time and within budget while managing agency impacts.
- Goal 4:
- Provide high quality services to agencies, consultants, and contractors in an efficient manner.
- Objective 1:
- Process all pay requests within the 30-day statutory limit.
- Objective 2:
- Review appropriations annually to ensure authority is reverted to the appropriate fund balance in a timely manner.
- Objective 3:
- Review the warranty list on a quarterly basis to ensure that project completion reports are processed in a timely manner.
